Mr. Somchai Akkarawittayapoom is the Founder and President of Arkitektura Co., Ltd. Previously, he was a co-founder of MFEC Public Co., Ltd. and Tangerine Co., Ltd., two leading technology system integration companies in Thailand.
Mr. Somchai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and an MBA from Thammasat University. He was awarded a Thai Government Scholarship for Master’s and Ph.D. studies at Imperial College London, and later received the Okazaki Kaheita International Scholarship Foundation Scholarship to pursue postgraduate studies in Japan.

คุณสมชัย เป็นผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัท อาร์คิเทคทูรา จำกัด และปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการของบริษัท ก่อนก่อตั้ง Arkitektura คุณสมชัยเป็นผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งบริษัท เอ็ม เอฟ อี ซี จำกัด (มหาชน) และบริษัท แทนเจอรีน จำกัด ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทชั้นนำด้านการวางระบบเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศของประเทศไทย
คุณสมชัยสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี วิศวกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า จากจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และปริญญาโท บริหารธุรกิจมหาบัณฑิต จากมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นอกจากนี้ ยังได้รับทุนรัฐบาลไทยเพื่อศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก ณ Imperial College London และได้รับทุน Okazaki Kaheita International Scholarship Foundation เพื่อศึกษาต่อระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น
